We realized that the one part of the guitar that had never been challenged for over 111 years was the bridgepin. After careful study, we determined that the bridgepin was, in fact, never designed to actually enhance the overall sound of the acoustic guitar. Therefore, we at Carrico's, through many trials and refinements, were finally able to develop a superior product for the acoustic guitar that actually works to improve the sound as well as protect the investment a player makes in their guitar.

Musicians are always looking for a little more sustain or brightness. We have developed the solution. The fundamental difference is in the physics of how the E-Z Peg works. It is designed to allow the string pressure to hold the pin in place, actually eliminating the stress that is put on the bridge. This enhances the sustain, brightness, allows the guitar to stay in tune longer, and makes it very easy to change your guitar strings. The traditional bridgepin is designed to be wedged into the bridge and requires a significant amount of pressure to hold it into place. This actually stresses out the guitar bridge and causes the pins to slip up, shoot across the room or ruin the holes size and bridge over time.
